The Sailor Jean is most clearly identified by the patch pockets and subtle details as worn by the iconic Jane Birkin. The Sailor is a super high rise slim fit with a wide leg. Designed to fit smaller on the waist to eliminate gaps at the back waistband. These will soften and shape to the body with wear.

What does long leg length mean?

The Rolla's Jeans long leg length is designed to elongate the leg and cover the top of boots. These jeans have a longer inleg measurement.

What does comfort denim mean?

Comfort denim, sometimes known as comfort rigid, is designed for those who want an authentic vintage look to their denim with a little bit of stretch. Comfort denim will keep its shape and doesn't require as much "wearing in" as rigid denim. It is also a slightly lighter weight which makes for a great trans-seasonal jean. If you normally wear super stretchy denim, try going up half a size.

How do I wash my jeans?

Always turn your jeans inside out. Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Use a mild detergent. For dark indigo denim, wash alone the first time to prevent colour transfer.

Beautiful style but Material Level of Stiffness Varies

Totally love this style especially the length caters to tall girls too. I will not say that its true to size though as my Sailor Jeans in Lily blue has a stiffer material than my Sailor Jeans in Rinse Black, which is more stretchy. I could probably go down a size with the Rinse Black. Wish it was mentioned in the descriptions for a better fit.

Were these made specifically for my body?!?

Saw these on another girl and asked her what brand they were because they fit her so well and have the waist-to-hip ratio I've been looking for in a pair of jeans. Jeans that fit my hips and thighs are usually too big in the waste but not these. I put them on, and they are tight everywhere they should be tight and loose everywhere they should be loose. Note: I bought a few pairs in differing colors/denim and would recommend that people pay attention to the rigidity of the denim they are purchasing. I got one in the Ashely and one in the Lily, and they do fit differently. The Ashely is definitely tighter, but I guess since it's a more rigid denim, it needs time to form to your body, or you gotta size up. Follow their denim guide for your needs.

Best jeans ever!

I love these jeans so much I have two pairs. One is fitted for going out and I bought the bigger size to wear during the day for greater comfort . Both pairs fit really well and are very flattering. My sizing detail below is based on the comfort fit pair.

I wanted to love these jeans so badly! I got them in a size 6. My measurements are 63cm waist and 86 cm seat. The size guide provided by rollas for the size 6 are 61cm waist and 89 cm seat. On me, the waist runs large and the seat was very tight. I measured everything before I ordered, specifically so I would have the perfect fit but sadly that wasn't the case. I also ordered these jeans in two colours and had the same issue with both so just be mindful.

Runs small, can’t return

These jeans run very small. Wouldn’t be an issue but returns cost $70 if you order to the US. Therefore your only option is the resell them yourself.

Amazing Jeans

Loved my sailor jeans, beautiful colour unfortunately they were a bit long so I had to get them hemmed however that is the only negative. I had sized up due to reading other reviews and I wish I had of gone with my regular size but they are still great.
