Perfect jeans

Distressed details I wasn’t expecting and don’t like. Not as firm as expected.. Was advised a size up because supposedly firm — got the 9 instead of 8, loosened within a couple days. Waist design creates stomach pouch, and crotch design gives episodes of camel toe. Looks like mum jeans - loose around legs, not tight around thighs or giving that slight boot leg at all. Something to consider: I’m 5’3 wearing the ankle as full length and that part worked out perfect. And I guess I needed a pair of straight leg mum jeans that give classic 80s vibe. But not what I expected at all for that price. Op shop jeans could give same vibe and comfort (comfortable like old jeans already). But worn out in a few days isn’t great.

Good for tall girls

Fit true to size. Finding jeans that are long enough for me is a struggle but these fit great and length was perfect. Colour was lighter than in the photo, slightly annoying, but not annoying enough to bother returning them. Overall positive.

These are THE jeans

I’ve searched high and low for the perfect light wash, vintage inspired, straight leg jean that actually looked cute and are not overly baggy and unflattering. I’ve tried Levi’s, Abercrombie, Agolde and Madewell and none compare to Rollas. These jeans are the perfect color and the perfect cut. Rolla’s tends to run small so order up. I am typically a 26 a Madewell and the 27 is perfect. They’re perfect for someone with a small waist and a big booty and thighs. My only 2 critical comments are that these jeans are LONG. I am 5’5” and ordered the ankle length and they are essentially a full length jean. So keep that in mind. Also, these jeans are RIGID. Like really rigid. I’ve worn other pairs of Rollas so I expected these jeans to soften up but nope. Neither of these things are dealbreakers, but just something to keep in mind.

Not my fav from rollas

I have a plethora of rollas jeans and this has been my least fav pair. I expected them to be more rigid than they were and the color looked different in person, more grainy if that makes sense. They are supposed to be a straight leg but they look like they have a slight boot cut which just gave them a really weird fit on my body personally. I do think they are a perfect pair for someone who likes more stretch to their denim, they just weren’t my cup of tea.

Ok so, I'm almost exclusively a vintage jean girl. Spend a sinful amount of my free time trying to thrift perfect jeans. And in an effort to find longer inseams (hard to find, in my experience, with vintage), I've also gone to great lengths (lol) to find non-vintage rigid denim, buying from Wrangler and Levi's to Imogene + Willie and everywhere in between. Finally found Rolla's and was hesitant to purchase internationally because of $25 return/exchange fee, but bit the bullet and did it, praying that their sizing guide was exact. These jeans (Heidi, Jet Black) are EXACT measurements promised (I even measured). The denim is "rigid" but very soft and comfortable - at least if you're used to vintage (esp. deadstock) rigid. I am between a 26" and 27" waist so wanted to play it safe and go for 27" but they were sold out. Glad I didn't - 26" fits a little snug but I like my jeans tight at first, and expect that they will give as much as I need them to after one wear. We'll see how these wear but so far I'm PSYCHED. If you are thinking about purchasing my only recommendation is to definitely check *all* of your measurements to make sure they match those listed in their size guide, guaranteed smooth sailing if you do.
